Throughout his distinguished tenure with the U.S. Army, Will M. Helixon was frequently called upon to serve in various capacities during critical deployments and contingency operations. Beginning in 1997, he played a crucial role as the Secretary for the Joint Staff at the Joint Task Force Bravo in Honduras. In 2000, he transitioned to the pivotal position of Command Judge Advocate during Operation Joint Forge in Hungary. Mr. Helixon’s dedication saw him being dispatched on temporary duty as the Senior Defense Counsel to the Baghdad International Airport during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2004. Later, in a span of 15 months from 2007 to 2008, he served as the Brigade Judge Advocate in Jalalabad, Afghanistan, as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. Continuing his service in Afghanistan, he undertook specialized responsibilities as a Special Victim Prosecutor in Kandahar during 2012, once again for Operation Enduring Freedom.
